LUCIDMOON IS A CREATIVE DIGITAL AGENCY BASED IN LIVERPOOL IN THE UK. WE CAN DO AMAZING THINGS FOR YOUR WEB PRESENCE, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS & ONLINE MARKETING CAMPAIGNS.

We are a boutique creative digital agency based in the creative heart of Liverpool in the UK. The company was founded in early 2012 by Matt Richards a seasoned designer, developer and all round web generalist boasting over 12 years of experience building websites and web applications for some of the biggest names in the game.

With roots in the digital, creative and business communities and a wealth of experience spanning a spectrum of skillset and knowledge we are proud to offer a full-service digital offering, from simple websites right up to full blown software products. Sometimes it's as simple as just knowing the right people, but more often than not it requires much more than that; Something special.

Meet the team

  • Matt Richards

    Creative Digital Consultant

    Creative, Designer, Software Developer and all-round web generalist. The man with the plan.

    Matt is a self-taught designer, web/software developer and proud web generalist.

    Beginning his career building horrendously ugly static websites in his bedroom many years ago, Matt built a succesful career working initially as a back-end focussed PHP/Ruby developer working for traditional software houses and later as a front-end leaning designer and HTML/CSS/Javascript developer.

    Matt loves to code and you'll often find him cooking up something hacking into the quiet hours.

    Discontent with his experiences in the industry Matt decided to setup as a Freelance Web Developer offering a wide range of web and software development services from HTML/CSS and Javascript to ExpressionEngine/Wordpress/Magento CMS and bespoke ZendFramework builds. Shortly thereafter he and a business partner started a small digital boutique based in Manchester offering whitelabel and ecommerce web application products to large corporations such as the likes of HELLO magazine, the BBC, FloGas, and large multimedia corporations. After a mutual decision to wind-up the company Matt founded Lucidmoon Ltd and spend a proportion of 2012 working for Lieferheld/DeliveryHero as a consultant Javascript developer helping them to build their new front-end platofrm. Since his return to the UK he's been plotting and planning amongst other things (including the Lucidmoon strategy!) working on a suite of revenue generating web applictions.

  • Lisa Jones

    Designer, Illustrator, Creative

    Lisa is a creative in the purest sense of the term. A left-hemisphere thinker through and through, Lisa's ability for creative and 'out-of-the-box' thinking are rivalled by few. Lisa is currently studying Graphic Design & Illustration at Liverpool John Moores University where she hopes to gain a 1st level degree. We call on Lisa's creative mind from time-to-time. She's a real asset.

Where is everybody!?

Lucidmoon work with a network of highly skilled — specialised — freelancers, contractors and agencies. This means we can maintain a small core team allowing us to remain efficent, agile and focussed to the job at hand all time.
